When we are in a relationship with Jesus Christ we don’t have to “do” anything. It doesn’t matter how many mistakes we make. Did you lose it on your kids yesterday/today? He still loves you. Did you react instead of removing yourself? He still loves you. Did you lie or exaggerate in a story or conversation? He still loves you. Have you been unfaithful to your spouse? He still loves you. Did you “fail” in a situation at your job? He still loves you. Did you get in an argument with your spouse and say some hateful things? He still loves you. Did you respond to the cashier or bank teller in an ungodly way? He still loves you.
Romans 8:38-39 says “there is NOTHING that can separate us from the love of God.”
“to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.” – Ephesians 3:19
We can’t even understand/comprehend with our natural minds how much He loves us. We do not have to “do” anything to achieve His love. We do not have to perform a certain way or say anything special. It doesn’t matter how much we mess up He will keep right on loving us. He doesn’t hate us, He hates the sin. Satan wants us to think that because we messed up again, He loves us less, but that is a lie. He loves us more!
So no matter how many times you screw up today, how many times you keep going around that mountain, He still loves you and He will be right beside you every turn you make. There isn’t anything that can keep you from His love. Nothing.
He loves you….NO MATTER WHAT!
