PRAYER ALERT FROM RUSSELL AND MARINA STENDAL
Feb. 27, 2010

Only God can start a real Move of God. But if we are led by the Spirit and place the Bibles, literature, radio broadcasts and events according to the will of God then all these things can really fan the flames. This is what we are seeing: On Dec. 5, 6, 7, 2009 Buddy Cobb and I participated in a convention in Curillo, Caqueta where the ministry was run out close to 24 years ago. Now people came from miles around to hear us and

Prayer Request

Kodesh and I arrived late last night here in Madison, WI. We are very happy to see Kaleb and Kessel and their apartment, etc. Please pray that we will be able to do everything we need in the two weeks we will be here.

I got an email this morning from my mother stating that:

“On March 3, a meeting is going to take place in the Kogi tribe. Perhaps it will be decided definitively at that meeting who is going to be the governor for the next period of time

Update from Gloria
February 12, 2010

The sad news is that the young man who was shot, who I wrote about in my last email, died due to complications and he never regained consciousness. He was 20 years old and left behind a 3 year old daughter. Please pray for the mother, who works for us. Praise the Lord that his older brother of 24, did recover and is now home with his family.

This weekend the Kogis will gather (at least one representative of each village) for a series of meetings.

News from Gloria
January 23, 2010

The Kogi Christians that were detained last year have not returned to the place they were being held. Some of them have left the tribe and have gone to a Bible School in another part of Colombia. Some others have gone to Bogotá, and the rest are living on a farm just outside of the Indian Reservation, it is a farm that was purchased by the Christian Kogis about 10 year ago when the Guerrillas kicked them off of their family farms.

PRAYER ALERT
from Russell and Marina Stendal
Bogota, Colombia, Dec. 12, 2009
martinstendal@etb.net.co

We are presently engaged in the monumental task of packing and deploying 60,000 parachutes and 10,000 children’s back packs which just arrived in a container from VOM. Churches here in Bogota are packing the chutes with literature and key people from all over the country are helping. By these means we are able to penetrate even the most hostile areas with the Gospel. Tens of

PRAYER ALERT
from Russell and Marina Stendal
Bogota, Colombia, Dec. 12, 2009
martinstendal@etb.net.co

The pace has greatly intensified this past year regarding our ministry in Colombia. I am reminded of the situation in China prior to the Communist takeover right after World War II. When Jonathan Goforth and others wrote home about the great move of God (later known as the Goforth Revival) to their friends and supporting churches almost no one believed them at the time. Therefore criti

December 8, 2009

It is a Catholic holiday today “El día de las Velitas” (The day of the little candles), which makes it a Colombian national holiday. It begins on the eve of December 7 at about 7pm, when all the little kids get to light up their front porches and sidewalks with as many candles as they can. It continues into the wee hours of the dawn with the adults continuing the holiday with much drinking and “merriment&#

Updates from Gloria
November 23, 2009

About the radio frequency that was jamming one of Russell’s radio stations; we thankfully report that is no longer an issue.

I know many of you are wondering what is happening with the Kogis that have been taken prisoners. Unfortunately, we really have no new information. We know they are still being held “until they renounce Christianity”. We don’t have any proof that they are being mistreated. We do kno
