Dear Friends,

Happy New Year and I trust you and your family had a blessed Christmas as well.

Some of you may know Sunlite Radio has been going through a rough period of time recently.

Paul Heil, host of the extremely popular "The Gospel Greats" program heard by thousands around the world each month, wrote the following message to his e-mail newsletter subscribers. This was not done at our prompting and is greatly appreciated. Paul is also a member of our InJesus Group, a fine

Dear Friends,

I learned yesterday that our long time friend and part of Sunlite Radio,
Rex Brenner has gone home to be with the Lord. He was 86 years old and passed away at a nursing home in Tennessee.

Rex Brenner's unique five minute program, "Stories of Great Hymns" has been heard on Sunlite Radio for over thirteen years. Before that, in the early 90's we developed a radio network of over 50 stations in the United States and overseas that carried the daily feature tell

Dear friends,

This afternoon I felt to call Scott Hessek on his cell phone.

At the time his Wife was undergoing a medical crisis and having difficulty breathing, so I am glad I obeyed the prompting of the Lord to call. I am sure Eileen will be ok.

I and sister Arlene appreciate your faithful prayers and how the Lord honors them. On another note, two days ago I shared with you our current Sunlite Radio Crisis. In the message I shared that basically we have completely run of out of ope

Dear Friends,

The month of October has seen many victories in the realm of answered prayer, especially that regarding Eileen Hessek who is out of the hospital now and in a very fine nursing/rehab home. However, she still needs a lot of prayer.

On the home front what little financial support we receive has markedly decline even more. The main reason is that we continue to lose podcast subscribers, who had been the main support of our internet bills. There are just a few left, though ocass

Dear Friends,

Late tonight Scott Hessek called with an update on his wife Eileen.
He said that the doctors were going to remove the breathing tube from his wife tomorrow morning.

Still, he says she is covered with a very painful rash from head to toe, and when she is semi conscious she suffers greatly, so we need to keep on praying and praising the Lord in advance for her healing which is coming.

God bless you all for continuing to pray for Eileen. The Hesseks have been great friends

Dear Friends:

This is an official notice that as of August 31st most, if not all of the music programming on Sunlite Radio will be suspended. Programs that are available for download in mp3 (podcasts) will still be available as well as the Real Audio downloads for $4.95 a month. As the recording industry at this point, still allows this activity.

The reason is because of the Royalty fees demanded by the Recording Industry. Basically we need $1,500 for each music program to be legal, for a

Dear Friends,

I know I wrote you just a few days ago regarding the fees, etc now required to keep operating our station. I found the article online today which describes ours and other small webcasters plight very well. It is written by internet radio expert Elliot Von Buskirk

Conventional wisdom dictates that the Internet should be a magical musical wonderland where everyone can be a DJ. But when it comes to user-programmed online radio, the Web is becoming less democratic, squeezing out
