In 2005 Melchizedek's Treasure, with our music and art teams, went to Cuba to mobilize Cubans to join us in a 3 day prayer retreat for Haiti. We were unaware that in general, Cubans hate Haitians. But to be kind to their visitors they sparsly attended our event as we prayed for a turning from witchcraft to Jesus Christ.

On the second day two ballet dancers came from Havana and asked to dance. I gave permission not knowing what would happen --just glad that Cubans had come. They danced fo

The harvest......
I wrote this to the lady that handles all of our beads and she told me to mail it out so I will just do what I am told ! ABU has a harvest to bring in in 2010. We are sent after the x child-soldiers who are unable to return home. All of the kids in ABU want them and welcome them. All are willing to make a place for them. We say, "YOU ARE WELCOME IN THIS PLACE". We LOVE you. You are a part of God's family and we want you.
I have really been praying for he

Here is a surprising discourse by Jesus, telling us how He wants to be ministered to.

He lists critical life-sustaining needs such as food, shelter, care for the sick, & clothing.

Just think of doing that for Jesus ! We would run to do it. We would give HIm the best we had. We would invite Him into our homes for sure. We would lavish him with our best food & clothi

Hi everyone.
I am typing on the worst keyboard on earth so please forgive.... no fancy colors or type available either !!

Today I was riding on a bus for 9 hours that was so crowded that my boy Sunday and I actually had a person on our laps! Toward the end of the ride I received a call from Richard Akena telling me that our 3 guys in Congo have had their passports confiscated at the border while stuck there with our 150 new kids they have rescued. They cannot leave.

Hello friends,
I have had a rough time since my last report but all things are speeding along irrespective of my discomforts. I went to Congo with Alfred, Richard, Bosco, and was unable to enter because of some malaria making me so weak. So David brought me back to Kampala where I received some treatment and worked on a police case of one of my kids.

The Rescue Team is looking for the location of Ugandan kids stuck in Congo. I have a call from God to bring them home in 2010. I have been bu

dearest friends,
I am so sorry to be at your door again. I feel bad, like I am abusing your attention. Yet I have nothing to do but to share my trials..
As of last night we have 45 new kids, of which most are sick. The nurse visited yesterday and took blood and stool samples and gave me a drug bill equaling to $630. I have no-where close to this amount of money, so I am appealing to you for help with this. I have even been told to travel to another city to purchase them because of the high co

Hello everyone,
I have been in Uganda 13 days now, and have enjoyed seeing my kids in Kitgum.I arrived and immediately visited the Peace Projet house. The builder Sunday Opio (one of our ABU boys) took me to see his work and i was warmly greeted by the family. The mother and father both are disabled, and their 4 children are fine and doing well. Our boys built this house for them as an act of restitution for the part they played in this war. It was a beautiful ending to some hard years spent b

I hope you can read my heart on this poster I made from a beautiful Ugandan landscape. Uganda is my second home and I am leaving in a few days to join my other family there. It is very hot at this time of year, usually over 100 degrees every day. But the spiritual darkness needs the light of Christ.
We have a rescue of x child-soldiers going on and I must prepare a place for them.
We have just finished our first house that our boys have built for the war-disabled ---the victims of our x

Our Ugandan family of ABU has a motto. This motto comes from the Bible in Acts 3:6.

Silver and gold have I none, but what I have I give to you.
In the name of Jesus Christ, stand up and walk.

I am finding that motto starting to be fulfilled this year in an unexpected way, by our whole org. I have been corresponding with a 16-year-old street kid who expresses himself to the deepest level. I have been exploring his thought processes in our developing friendship. He lets me
