Pray for Steven Curtis Chapman and family

Posted May 22nd 2008, 11:54 by Winds of Praise Broadcasting on Worship

Many of you may have already heard of the tragedy in the family of Steven Curtis Chapman (contemporary Christian artist). Their youngest child (one of three adopted Chinese children; the Chapman's have 6 children all together), a 5 yr. old daughter, was the fatal victim of a car accident at their home last night (May 21). The driver of the SUV was Maria's teenage brother, who did not see her playing in their family's drive way in TN....

Posted Nov 12th 2007, 03:01 by Winds of Praise Broadcasting on Worship

Greetings, "radio land"--
Mid-Coast Christian School in Toledo, OR has nearly tripled its enrollment of students (K-12) this year. There is a real sense of outreach to the community's students, including at-risk children. The staff knows that God will provide, and does not want finances to get in the way of children getting a Christian education. The response of financial help was great earlier this year, but the new principal announced at a recent monthly parent's meeting...

Pray for Concert

Posted Sep 20th 2007, 11:52 by Winds of Praise Broadcasting on Worship

As a coordinator in another city for the Todd Agnew concert told me the other day, "The train is coming". Todd Agnew, Rush of Fools, and Joy Whitlock will be in Newport this Sat. (7:30 pm at the Nazarene church). To be transparent, this project has been a roller-coaster, and the biggest thing we have ever put together. The other morning I needed my spirit and emotions to be ministered to, so I turned on Winds of Praise. "The...

It's a good thing I read what was written for the station update last month. Otherwise, I would have repeated myself!
