in a splendid mansion? Or is it marrying you a gorgeous wife or raising the
children of your dreams?

Give it a thought

some that have met me have asked me why I have been quiet.

stop me writing.

Leading and being Led

This is a continuation of the last sermon (The Power of Vision), in case you want to read the last sermon first go to www.voiceinthewilderness.injesus.com

"Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the Law, happy is he." Proverbs 29:18 KJV

It is inherent in all human beings to be led, right from the time one was a child when you looked up to your mum, dad, uncle, auntie, big brother, sister or any...

The Power of Vision

Posted Sep 18th 2008, 12:00 by Voice In The Wilderness- Pastor Frank Bushuyu on Teaching/Education

“Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the Law, happy is he.” Proverbs 29:18 KJV

Lately I have been churning thoughts in my mind of the importance of vision and how the lack of it or the lack of the understanding of vision can be extremely detrimental to both the leader and the led.

People are motivated by vision – an exciting place they are heading towards.
When people in an organization do not know, are not...

Foundations of the Faith IV - Infallibility of God's word

Posted Jul 30th 2008, 02:10 by Voice In The Wilderness- Pastor Frank Bushuyu on Teaching/Education

"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works." II Timothy 3:16
Yesterday I had a chat with a friend of mine. We discussed some issues in my friend's life, something they were doing that was clearly wrong. This friend told me that it was God's will that they go through this. This is where...

The Law of Association

Posted Jul 8th 2008, 02:08 by Voice In The Wilderness- Pastor Frank Bushuyu on Teaching/Education

"And Abram was very rich in cattle, in silver and in gold" Genesis 13:2
"And Lot also which went with Abram, had flocks, and herds and tents." Genesis 13:5

Nothing big is written about Abraham's little nephew called Lot save the fact that he hanged around his big uncle a little and then had to part ways  with him at some point, Lot preferring the more glamorous plains of Jordan while Abraham took Canaan. The next occasion we hear of Lot, he...

Walking with God

Posted Jun 24th 2008, 01:12 by Voice In The Wilderness- Pastor Frank Bushuyu on Teaching/Education

"And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters: and all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years: and Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him." Genesis 5:22-24
The word 'walked' used above has an interesting meaning. It means to 'keep pace', to 'behave self', to 'be conversant', to 'continually on.'
In other words the word 'walked' means to keep in line with God,...

Foundations of the faith III - One God The Father, Son and Holy Spirit!

Posted Apr 18th 2008, 03:22 by Voice In The Wilderness- Pastor Frank Bushuyu on Teaching/Education

"One Lord, one Faith, one Baptism" Ephesians 4:5
We serve one God, not three but one! And God has chosen to reveal himself in his operation with mankind as Father, Son and the Holy Ghost.
God (the Father) spoke the world into existence but the Bible says it was through Jesus that the worlds were formed and the formation came about by the power of the Holy Spirit.
"In the beginning God
created the heaven...

Foundations of the Faith II He is Risen as He said!

***Do write back and let me know if the messages are blessing you.***
We have just been through Easter and many people and media usually choose this period as an appropriate time to throw questions at the Faith. You wonder why they never try that for Islam on Idi. The truth is God (and Christianity) is not intimidated; God is secure and is never troubled by questions.  CNN usually airs documentaries authored by scorners of the Christian...

A New Thing means a new opportunity, another chance.  A new Thing is a new lease to life! God is saying, "Inspite of your previous failings, I am giving you another chance."
You serve a God that will NEVER give up on you, even when you think it is too late to try again, God says, "it is never too late, to pick yourself up, brush off the dust, wipe the swept from your brow and head...
