Edith Burns was a wonderful Christian who lived in San Antonio, Texas .
She was the patient of a doctor by the name of Will Phillips. Dr. Phillips
was a gentle doctor who saw patients as people. His favorite patient
was Edith Burns.

Pray for 17 year old football player in Charlotte, NC, who broke his neck while playing football last Friday night in Charlotte.  Bailey Johnston, playing Strong Safety on the defensive team collided with a player on the opposing team while tackling him.  His neck twisted and was broken without any paralisis, Praise The Lord.  He is recovering, after surgery, at Presbyterian Hospital.  He is the son of Betsy and Billy Johnston.  He is one...

Pastor Timothy Vaughn told us tonight at the closing service of our Revival that he has a lot of young folks at his new church in Athens, GA.  They bring all kinds of issues to him that most teenagers these days have.
 
One subject matter that they had a group discussion on was the content, of today’s movies and the ratings of movies.  They were asking Tim, “which movies should we go to?”  Just a little...

We are in Revival in our church here in Columbia, SC, at Park Street Baptist.  Dr. Timothy Vaughn of Athens, Georgia, gave the message about Baseball...Christian baseball... no, no, not  church baseball leagues in many churches.  He preached the entire sermon on BASEBALL!

Pray for an un-named acaholic who has been dry for several years until today.  When our church van showed up to pick him up this morning to go to church, our driver found him passed out on the floor of his home.  9-1-1 was called and he was transported to the hospital.  Animals had not been fed for days in the house.  Pray for this un-named brother.
