Family Christmas
    Most of our family enjoyed Christmas festivities in Florida with Debbie's side of the family.  Lots of good times and good food, of course!  We ministered in one small meeting then later led some carols and worship at a Christmas party.
    Our family then spent Christmas Eve with my side of the family; my mother and her new husband, Eldrin in Columbia, MO.  Eldrin is a fine gentleman who we're all truly enjoying getting to know....

IHOP Student Awakening Meetings
As you probably know by now, a surprise revival has broken out at IHOP.  1000 - 2000 people show up four nights a week from 6 pm till midnight.  Lots of wonderful and crazy God stuff.  Similar to the Toronto revival (which by the way is still going strong). John & Carol Arnott from Toronto and Bill & Beni Johnson from Redding, CA were here for 3 days speaking into these meetings.  We're enjoying these special...

This is a personal update from Lydia our daughter, who is attending her second year of school in Redding, CA at Bethel's School of Supernatural Ministry.  We're delighted at her spiritual growth and experiences she's having.  Thought you would be inspired also.  If you know of someone - young or older - who is in a transitition time of their lives, we wholeheartedly recommend this school and church environment.   M&D

MN trip
Our friends at Wilderness Prayer Center hosted us for 3 meetings last week. We had a great time with these Swedish, farmer, Lutherans.  They responded well and by the last meeting we were all 'flowing'.  A group of 30 young people from The Cities gave a welcome infusion of vibrancy to the last meeting. 
Austin Christian Fellowship, Sunday morn and eve meetings were blessed by Holy Spirit's presence with prophetic ministry for all in the evening service.  Then...

Baltimore conference (last week)
    It's all too rare that we just attend a conference without serving in some capacity, but that's what this conference trip was all about.  And to us and to our friends from Maranatha in Nevada, MO (the church we've been pastoring this last year) it became one of the more impacting conferences we've ever attended.
    We witnessed literally hundreds and hundreds of healings. But by far the best thing was the personal tangible presence of...

News from the Land of Kim Chi
Did you know that in Korea there are over 100 kinds of kim chi?!  The dilemma: so much kim chi and so little time eat it.  :-)
We made many new and wonderful relationships that will without a doubt be followed up in the future.  We were in about 20 meetings while in South Korea. 
We met lots of great people with great hearts, but societal pressures tend to shut down these precious hearts....

Great meetings
Debbie and I are doing well. A great first week. Lots of breakthrough and many tears for the little church we were serving. About 30 people during day and 45-50 at night.
Spoke on friendship with God, the 3rd/7th day time we live in, the components of revival, what it takes to stay spiritually alive and attracting God's presence, etc.  
The translators have been good and easy to work with. The host pastor was very pleased with everything...

32 Years
    On 9/11 Debbie and I celebrated our 32nd wedding anniversary. Our date night took us out for Mediterranean food and to listen to comedian, Brian Regan... a barrel of laughs. So have we really been married 32 years!?!   I guess so... it's been a good life together so far with lots of adventure... the normal ups and downs ... and 4 great kids serving the Lord and making a life out on their own ... overall it's...

Back home and in our own beds
    The trip home was uneventful and shorter than normal... only two flight legs.  All is well on the home front.  Neighbors had watched the house well.  We collected the postal mail and fell into bed.  BUT the sleep patterns are all messed up - 13 hours difference - day is night and night is day.   I suppose after a few days we'll be back in the groove.

Breakthrough!
    We hit paydirt Friday night with a pretty major breakthrough! It's been building each evening and we're noticing that visitors are coming back. We started the evening by putting on mercy! Yeh, that's right... we put it on just like you put on a shirt.  Now that we were free, we were ready to dance.  And dance we did.  At just a gentle suggestion, nearly everyone moved out of the rows and up to the front for some...

'Signs and wonders'
    We made it through the Hong Kong typhoon without incident.  In fact, even thought it threatened to roar like a lion and hit land at a signal #9, it ended up meowing like a kitten.  There were only minor injuries and little damage, a few downed trees, and lots of leaves and debris on the city streets.  The city was calm and peaceful that next morning.  Thank for your prayers and expressed concern.

SHINE - Over The Top
    Last week's SHINE Youth Camp was way OVER THE TOP!!!  Absolutely amazing!  The old phrase was 'Thats UN-believable!'...but our new phrase we're using is that's 'SO BELIEVABLE!'...
    About 1200 youth attended. There were 367 first time salvations! The team has a great follow-up plan for the young people. We took time for emphasis on physical healing and had several cool testimonies shared publicly.  Over half of those attending responded to an invitaion to...

We arrived safely and on time in Tainan, Taiwan last Monday eve and weren't too overly tired despite the 31 hours of travel.  As always, it is a pleasure to reunite with great friends here in Tainan.
