For comic book aficionados, the recent appearance of the "Fantastic Four" in theaters is exciting -- watching your heroes come to life on the big screen. But for some odd reason, seeing the larger than life-size promotional at a near-by theater stirred an odd thought: Is the Body of Christ supposed to have a "Fantastic Five" -- the Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor and Teacher?
Back in the fifties, God used people in what is called the "Latter Rain" movement to proclaim...
The Fantastic Four... Or Five...?

Bill Johnson -- You Can ATTRACT Revelation
Posted Jul 7th 2005, 06:34 by KingdomScribes on Christian Living
This is such an excellent "Kingdom Word", we're posting it to all of you. It's from a recent sermon by Bill at Bethel. Even though he didn't refer to Isa 55, it really fits. So after we quote that passage, we'll turn the rest of the newsletter over to Bill!!!
Isa 55:
1 Hey!! Everyone who's thirsty, come to the waters; And if you don't have any money, Come! Buy and eat! Yes! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without...
A Short Note About COMMENTS & "CUT'nPASTE"...
Posted Jun 27th 2005, 11:48 by KingdomScribes on Christian Living
This InJesus newsletter is NOT a "one way street"!
You all have the option to respond with comments to us or to the subscribers in general!
What we do when we get a comment from one of you is we consider whether it's an excellent and edifying remark for all -- or more in line with personal info to us.
And occasionally, we send your response out for the benefit of the rest of the "KingdomScribes"!
Here's an example -- and, BTW,...
There Are None So Blind, and Other Miscellany
Posted Jun 26th 2005, 05:46 by KingdomScribes on Christian Living
KingdomScribes!
There's a new blog (KingdomScribes.blogspot.com) out today called, "There Are None So Blind, As They Who WILL NOT See..."
In it, we tell you about two, classic, scientific experiments that are valuable for "KingdomScribes".
One deals with many people's sense of "helplessness" about being able to interpret the Scriptures accurately and deeply for themselves.
The other deals with many people's flat inability to see something in Scripture other than what they've "seen" there before or been "told" is there by a favorite...

Seems "it" can't be emphasized enough, we all get caught up in "it" too often. Thank you for bringing it to our attention again. Bless you!

Maintaining Decorum in Bible-Based Food-Fights...
Posted Jun 23rd 2005, 12:17 by KingdomScribes on Christian Living
Hi, all!
Both of us have been spending some time on the ChristianForums, talking to real people -- people who are "real" and "real astonishing"!
Some of the threads deal with extremely controversial topics (like, "Is There One Rapture or Two" to which someone responded, "No, there are seven...")
One of the topics that we responded to dealt with the phrase "to meet", as used in 1Thess "to meet Him in the clouds".
BTW -- This passage in 1Thess is the only "rapture" passage...
Julia: Maintaining Decorum...

Hello you two,
It seems that we must walk carefully through His word and meditate on it and Him so that we can be careful when we speak to others.
Understanding Prophecy -- Natural and Spiritual Interpretations
Posted Jun 10th 2005, 01:54 by KingdomScribes on Christian Living
Over on the KingdomScribes' Blog, we've just posted a useful response to a recent question from one of our "KingdomScribes". It's valuable for us because it illustrates a fundamental issue in interpreting prophecies -- recognizing that interpretation is to take place both in our natural minds, and in our spirits.
Here's the question:
Why did John deny he was Elijah? Jesus clearly states in the New Testament that John is Elijah...I wonder whether he fully understood who he was?
We explore this, especially...

This may be an opportunity for you as it has been for us.
A couple of weeks ago, I "surfed" across a Christian Forum based in the UK (but, since the Web knows no bounds, it's an international forum!)
We began reading posts --- posts from new Believers, old Believers, non-Believers and God-only-knows Believers. We've read and responded in forum threads on deliverance, marital sex and the Christian, whether Dutch Sheets is OK or not, does anyone know of any prophecies that...
RDTW Tutorial: Advantages & Disadvantages...
Posted May 27th 2005, 06:39 by KingdomScribes on Christian Living
When we wrote the KingdomScribes' tutorial, Rightly Dividing the Word, we knew there were both advantages and disadvantages to this teaching format.
Advantage -- Any English-speaking person in the world with a computer can learn at their own rate of speed a simple set of skills needed to accurately and profoundly interpret the Word of God. In fact (theoretically) since the RDTW tutorial is computer-based, it could be made available anywhere in the world that a computer can be linked to...
The Anorexic Bride -- Take Two
Posted May 20th 2005, 06:31 by KingdomScribes on Christian Living
Last night, as we were "sozo-ing" someone down on the coast, we mentioned a dream Michele had a few months back. Some of you have already heard about it, but for those who haven't we'll share the "condensed version" again.
First, over on the KingdomScribes blog, we just wrote about how the path we are encouraging you to follow may not be the safest path. But, in Christ, it's the only one. A Christian "led" by the Spirit is (necessarily) supernaturally...

Where are the Early-Morning People?
Posted May 5th 2005, 05:06 by KingdomScribes on Christian Living
Wow! We just got back from the conference for pastors and ministry leaders at Bethel Church in Redding, California. This is the ministry led by Bill Johnson and his associate, Kris Vallotton which has impacted the lives of thousands around the world. Bill has two books out, When Heaven Invades Earth and The Supernatural POWER of a Transformed MIND. He ministers a revelatory impartation from a carefully constructed biblical foundation for walking in the supernatural power of God. If you...

Not Now that He's Preparing the Bride for Himself!
Do you want to deepen the intimacy of your relationship with God?
Really? If you do, you're part of the current move of God in this Day! Over on our KingdomScribes blog, we share one fool-proof way you can deepen your intimacy with Jesus, our coming Bridegroom.
In a nut shell: Part of Jesus' main thrust in the Church today is the raising up of His Bride. In response to Him, we...
The Coming Kingdom Belongs to Risk-Takers!
Posted Apr 14th 2005, 01:25 by KingdomScribes on Christian Living
Many Voices in the Body of Christ today consider the next, great season of change is already begun. This newsletter contains a brief excerpt of a larger posting over on the KingdomScribes' blog -- a "heads-up" about these transformations in the Church.
This Move of the Spirit will not appear in its mature form from any mainstream venue. The large church organizations will continue to struggle with how to direct, control or even capitalize on this next generation of ministry....
