We had our Heart of the Father activation class Saturday night, and the assignment was to ask the Father, "What ONE thing, Father, do You want to reveal to me about YOUR heart?"
The Lord spoke to us each one, about salvation, trust, and the fact that He KNOWS our distress. He held us close and gave us glimpses into His heart and how His heart feels about what we go through.
He also spoke...

" Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth." Colossians 3:2
Where are your affections today? What were your first thoughts as you woke up this morning? Where they on the many tasks you have to do today or on thankfulness for God allowing you to live another day? Where the things you had to do things that would bring honor and glory to the Lord or things that would please your flesh?

FAITH
A person can hear the gospel, but if he never exercises saving faith he remains lost for eternity. While many people try to justify themselves before God on the basis of their religious activity or their good works, the Bible clearly tells us that the only way to come to God is through faith in Jesus Christ. Too often, faith is misunderstood.
1. There are four kinds of faith
First, there is a historical faith, which...

JESUS CHRIST
The focal point of salvation is Jesus Christ. Apart from Christ no sinner can be saved. And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). There are two primary truths which are vital for us to understand concerning Christ and His work of salvation: Who Jesus is and What Jesus has accomplished on our behalf (that...

MAN AND SIN
Everyone has his own opinion about mankind, but what really matters most is what God has to say about mankind.
Many modern philosophies consider that man is basically good and wants to do the right thing if he has a chance. But his environment, society, peers, and family hinder him from acting right. This kind of view fails to consider what God has said about the nature of man. To understand why we need salvation,...

Heavenly Wealth
"No good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly" (Psalm 84:11).
Many pleasing things the LORD may withhold but "no good thing." He is the best judge of what is good for us. Some things are assuredly good, and these we may have for the asking through Jesus Christ our LORD.
Holiness is a good thing, and this He will work in us freely. Victory over evil tendencies, strong tempers, and evil habits He will gladly grant, and...

"Be ye angry and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath." Ephesians 4:26
Anger isn't the problem, it is how we handle it that is the problem. How do you handle anger? Do you rant and rave and cause hurt? Do you keep it inside and cause your own pain?
There are times we should be angry but we should not let the anger control us. We should not use the anger...
