EH&SS DVD GOES GOLD
Earlier this year,.. Ernie Haase and Signature Sound captured Dove Awards for "Southern Gospel Recorded Song of the Year" and "Southern Gospel Album of the Year" for Get Away Jordan. Now the long-form DVD of the same title has been certified gold by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America)
The DVD, which debuted No. 1 on the Billboard Video chart,.. when released in 2007, was produced by Bill Gaither. The Get Away Jordan CD also topped the Contemporary Christian and Southern Gospel music charts in Billboard.
Ernie told reporters: "Every time I hear news about sales and the achievement they signify, I think back to the old school wisdom of my former boss Glen Payne of the Cathedrals Ernie pointed out. "He would say, Liars figure, but figures don't lie!' So here is the truth' about these numbers, we are blessed--blessed with a broad base of friends who believe in us and find some hope in our message. And so, for this achievement most of all I thank our fans."
The quartet recently taped their second solo concert DVD in Chicago,.. it is slated for release in late October.

The new CD project from Hillsong, titled: Hillsong Live! This Is Our God,.. is currently keeping company with The Jonas Brothers, Miley Cyrus, Coldplay and
Rhianna on the iTunes Album Download Charts.
On its first day of digital release, This is Our God
download sales are surging and the CD is now the 6th most-downloaded
album on iTunes all-genre chart as well as at No. 1 on the iTunes
Christian/Gospel Download Chart. It's the highest charting iTunes
position in Hillsong history.
The two-disc This Is Our God was recorded live in March at Acer Arena, the largest indoor stadium in Sydney, Australia.

NEW SONSHINERS CD DUE IN SEPTEMBER
The Sonshiners Quartet of Campbellsburg, IN was in the studio, last month..
putting finishing touches on a soon to be released recording,, titled: I Choose. The album,
recorded at Homeland Studios in Gallatin, TN.. was produced by Nick Bruno.
The current line-up of
the Sonshiners are tenor and group manager Tim Chastain, lead singer
Mike Atchison, baritone Ron McCaslin and bass Terry Tichenor.
Group manager Tim Chastain says " We feel that these songs have a
special anointing on them. We appreciate the work that Nick Bruno has
put into I Choose.
Nick pushed us by bending and stretching our harmonies and blend more
than we thought we were capable of. I am most pleased of the work that
was accomplished and I pray that many will be blessed because of this
effort."
